Melissa Campbell, Director of the Plainville Public Library, has been kind enough to make a "Fun in "the Sun" list for the Sun Chronicle, listing all the great activities occuring at local libraries this summer. We've got the list posted on our Youth Room bulletin board, but you can also find the list at http://www.plainvillepubliclibrary.org/funinsun.htm. Now you can check out all the local libraries!

google-whacking

Have you heard the term googlewhacking? It refers to a search you do on the Internet using two terms which only turns up one result...very hard to do, indeed! See the rules!

Reference questions

Our reference staff receives a variety of questions every day. Monday, while filling in at the ref desk, I received a questions about a Preble's Meadow Jumping Mouse, Richard Nixon, and a medical issue. Need help with information? Please let us help!
