Borrow a magazine!

Did you know the library subscribes to over 150 magazines? We run the gamut from A to Z...From Ability Magazine (for folks who have a disability) to Zoo Books, and there are lots of titles between. Whether you are interested in parenting (Parents, Parenting), sports (Beckett Baseball, Sports Illustrated), cooking (Bon Appetit, Taste of Home, Gourmet), home repair (Fine Homebuilding, Family Handyman), reading (Bookmark, Pages, Locus, Deadly Pleasures, Romantic Times, etc), money (Fortune, Kiplinger's, Money, Consumer Reports) or many a topic, we probably have something for you! Other libraries in our Sails library sytem might have a magazine you are interested in too, and most libraries lend all but the most current issue. Let us know your interest, and we'll find something for you.
The November issue of Kiplinger's Personal Finance came yesterday, and it is truly a treasure trove of information. It is a "Best of Everything 2006" issue, and I found it fascinating...enough so that I think I'll go out and buy my own copy. It features things like best airfare site, best dark chocolate, best crab cakes, best college town for retirees, best cell phone, best midlife crisis car (it is a Porsche Boxter, if you've got $45,800 at least), best checking account, best customer service, etc.
