Financial Fitness Calendars

The Massachusetts Society of CPAs has given us 50 or so "2009 Financial Fitness" calendars, and we're distributing them on a first come, first served basis. The calendar contains tips and tools for improving financial health. The MSCPA encourages you to get a calendar, and start 2009 off on the right foot!

The Friends of the Mansfield Public Library have beautiful Mansfield afghans to sell! We have one hanging on our wall for you to see. The price is $48.00, and they make a great gift for college kids, relocating families, friends, and yourself. Just ask at the desk.

A message from Sails dated 12/1/08

Last Wednesday a process was set off which accidentally emailed overdue notices to anyone who had items checked out. This has caused tons of email to be sent to people who should not have been notified. SAILS apologizes for all the inconvenience and appreciates your patience during the resolution.

Adult Book Discussion Group

We met last week for our third meeting, and our next get-together is on December 23, when we will be discussing GILEAD by Marilynne Robinson. Our group meets on the 4th Tuesday of every month, and new members are always welcome!

Institute of Contemporary Art passes

Thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Library, we're now offering a pass to the ICA in Boston. We have a limited membership, so passes are available Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and some school vacation days. Please check our on-line museum pass booking site or call the library for booking and/or availability...and have your library card in hand. It is required to book a pass!
