Literacy Center Display

Check out our display case this month. It features lovely black and white pictures of tutors and their students from the Literacy Center. We often provide space for the volunteers and their students. Do ask our reference librarian if you have any questions.

The value of your library

The Maine State Library recently posted a "calculator" so you can figure out the value of your library. It is lots of fun to do...Please let me know if you fill it out!

The late Donald Westlake

I heard today that the author Donald Westlake had passed away last week. He was a very prolific author, with many enthusiastic readers. Westlake had been writing for over 40 years, and was 75.
